Day - Solar
● The sun is an amazing object which we take for granted – you can neve r tell what it may display today
● Our telescopes may show a wide range of solar features – including prominences, filaments, sunspot detail, plages and flares
● Visual observing must be done with special equipment to avoid eye damage – we take special precautions to ensure the safety of all viewers
● Solar subjects lead into many areas of study – eg solar system, global warming. Talk to us to customise our presentation – we are very flexible
● Viewing during normal school hours allows students who travel to participate
● Solar and Night viewing can be combined at a special rate |
